KazNPZ’s location in Aktau places us at the centre of one of Central Asia’s most important commodity export hubs. The Aktau port on the Caspian Sea is Kazakhstan’s principal maritime export gateway — handling crude oil, petroleum products, dry cargo, and containers — and it provides KazNPZ with direct access to trans-Caspian shipping routes serving Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkmenistan, and Iran.

Beyond Caspian sea routes, Aktau’s extensive rail connections enable product despatch to buyers across Kazakhstan, Central Asia, the Russian Federation, and via the trans-Eurasian rail corridors, to European markets.

Commercial Terms

KazNPZ offers flexible commercial arrangements to accommodate buyers’ requirements:

Delivery basis: FCA (Aktau rail), FOB (Aktau port), CIF (buyer-nominated Caspian port)
Pricing: referenced to ICIS, Platts, or mutually agreed index, with published premiums/discounts
Payment: irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight, or on agreed open-account terms for established counterparties
Inspection: SGS, Intertek, or equivalent at load port — at buyer's cost or shared basis
Documentation: Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Quality, packing list, invoice

Long-Term Supply Agreements

For buyers with consistent volume requirements, KazNPZ offers the stability of a long-term supply agreement providing price predictability, guaranteed allocation, and priority scheduling. Long term agreements are particularly suited to bitumen buyers in road construction, fuel oil buyers in the industrial sector, and trading houses seeking a reliable Caspian source.
